As far as seafaring adventures go, the inaugural CryptoCruise was a rip-roaring success. Fun was had. Adult beverages flowed. Friendships were forged. And (perhaps most importantly) absolutely no icebergs, kraken-like monsters or Bermuda-type triangles were encountered.
The event was co-organised with five sponsors, all of which also helped host the event and welcomed over 200 guests on board with a brief address. Everyone went on to network in a fun, relaxed environment – to the sound of some groovy tunes, courtesy of the onboard DJ. When the ship returned to port, it was time to move on to SiGMA’s official closing night.
SiGMA’s CryptoCruise drew rave reviews in 2017, and is definitely coming back this year. SiGMA 2018 will certainly feature a Blockchain/Crypto-themed conference for the industry mavens to have a meeting of the minds. The cruise will help complement that event with a chance to make personal connections with other Crypto-minded individuals – an opportunity the industry is clearly hungry for.
